January Dev Log

Hello everyone! I’ll try to keep these dev logs monthly, though there’s a chance I might miss the summer dev logs—it really depends. I’ll let you all know as we get closer to that time. On a funny note, the game is just one 5-star rating away from dropping to a 4-star rating.

Overall, the game has had a great launch, and I’m extremely happy with how it’s been received. I was initially worried it wouldn’t get much attention at all, so this has been a pleasant surprise.

The storyboarding is going well—I’m focusing on making sure it’s structured nicely. I’ve also been working on coding some shops, a bag system, and other smaller features I want to add, especially for a mission involving a specific character.

I’m currently designing two new characters, though nothing is fully finalized yet. One of them is a shopkeeper who will allow you to buy gifts, snacks, and other items. I don’t want to say too much since things are still in progress.

Now, here’s a major issue I’ve run into: I originally planned to create two scenes for every character. With 10 characters already in the game, that would mean 20 scenes—possibly more. It took me a long time to finalize just 6 scenes, so I don’t think I’ll be able to achieve that goal. For now, I might add these scenes gradually as Chapter 0 progresses, so more content will be introduced over time until Chapter 0 is 100% complete.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions on what I could improve or add. I already have a lot planned, but it never hurts to hear fresh perspectives!

i think you should take your time fleshing out the stories for each character one at a time and when you are done you move onto the next character

I'm a little excited to see where this project goes. It's a refreshing change of pace from the abundant amount of RPG maker games with Vore in them.

Please keep going!
