March Dev Log


Hello everyone!

A slightly late Dev Log - a lot happened in real life, and the month flew by way too fast, I swear!

For the first half of the month, I was mostly busy coding mini-games and figuring out what works (and what definitely doesn’t). I ended up choosing just 1 mini-game to keep: the Chess Mini-Game.


he biggest issue with this was the small screen size, and it kept crashing randomly, making the launcher slow. No idea why, but after testing it a million times, I finally got it working!

I plan to hide the time-of-day UI eventually- it’s mostly there to test functionality. I might tweak the buttons later, but for now, I’m happy with how it looks!

Why only one mini-game? The others either broke instantly or needed way more time to polish!

⚠️ Reminder: I’m still storyboarding, so characters are in default poses/expressions. Nothing’s final yet!

TWO NEW CHARACTERS!  Shop Keeper &  Adventurer! They’ll only appear if you’ve met Allison (which you probably did, unless you skipped her in your 1st playthrough). No need to reset!


After a few design tweaks, I’m thrilled with how they turned out:

  • The Shop Keeper (bat girl!) sells essentials: flowers, chocolate, bottles, etc. She’ll love your money and happily buy stuff from you too!
  • The Adventurer guides you to materials, power-ups, and introduces the RPG system!

OUTSKIRTS DUNGEON Still in storyboard mode, but the idea is: you get overconfident, dive too deep, and get swarmed (or a brutal game over). Not fully done yet, but expect fights against wolves, slimes, goos, and other creatures… with just your fists and zero armor.

I’ve also been working on the open-world map! You’ll soon explore freely before saying goodbye to Limbo.
